Good morning - it's Helen here with a little tutorial showing you to make a calendar for next year. It's really easy to make and makes a really nice little gift to include with a Christmas card.
This is what you will need to make the calendar:
brown card
white card
patterned paper
calendar tab pad
brown ribbon
colouring medium of your choice
And this is what you need to do:
1. Mat a piece of patterned paper measuring 13cm square on to a piece of white card measuring 13.5cm square. Stamp the hedgehog on to white card and then die cut a circle round the image. Mat the circle on to a scalloped circle of brown paper and attach to the patterned paper as shown in the photo below:
2. Next mat a piece of brown card measuring 8.5cm by 6cm on to a piece of white card measurig 9cm by 6.5cm. Attach a calendar pad as shown in the photo below:
3. Cut a piece of brown card measuring 14cm square and a second smaller piece measuring 9.5cm by 7cm. Lay these in front of the and decide the distance you want between the two panels. Loop a piece of brown ribbon and then stick this to the card as shown in the photo below:
4. Attach the image panel and the calendar panel over the top of the panels with the ribbons on them, hiding the ribbon as you do so:
I hope you've enjoyed my little project today - enjoy the resy of your weekend!
