Candle Holder

Oh now isnt this creation gorgeous, made by Deborah using the sweet stamp called

Used a glass square candle holder approx. 3 1/2 inches tall. I stamped the image and my sentiment on vellum from my printer. Let dry for about 10 minutes. Used my copics to color her in (you can use whatever colors you want or even colored pencils) Copics used – RV13 (eyes&lips); E29, E57 (hair); E 53, E11 (skin); C-5 (lace-bottom of gown); V06, V09 (for Gown)

I used a chalk ink Powder Puff - Lemonade to go around her and the sentiment leave a little room so the candle lite will reflect onto the sides of her and through the sentiment.
***Very important - when you are done coloring your image and inking around both sentiment and image let dry for 3 minutes turn over so the inked & colored images are going to be adhered to the glass. This gives the soft look to the images when candle is lit. DO NOT use a taller candle as paper may catch on fire. Use a small tea lite or LED candle for light.

Found the sentiment on  http://home.pcisys.net/~tbc/bedpryr.htm   from this site it has many different variations of this prayer.

Used Spellbinders - scallop to cut out the image (used second largest size); used Spellbinders - Labels 8 to the sentiment (the third size down). I than used Glossy Accents to adhere the vellum. I tried regular vellum adhesive but does not stick very well because of the ink. The top portion of the scallop w/image may hang a little over the top of the candle holder but that is ok, you can cut it off if you like.
Used clear gems to line around the sentiment.

Flowers are Prima flowers and enhanced the color of them with coloring in the middle to the end of some of the flowers with copics. (YG63, Y15, Y 38, YR68, V06) Adhered flowers to candle holder with glue dots.
***If you get glossy accents around the glass portion after your done adhering your vellum image and sentiment, take a small dab of rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and clean those spots it will lift off.

Thank you for looking
